We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo, and you can come too, too, too. Let's take the kindergarteners to see some animal exhibits. :)
Chaperones will be given a few students to be in charge of while at Minnesota Zoo and on the bus. This will involve making sure students use the bathroom if needed, getting water breaks at the fountains, having fun as you explore the Zoo exhibits and letting the teachers know if needed for an emergency.

The first 15 parents to sign up will ride the bus with our students. This will be communicated via classroom teachers. Everyone is welcome to chaperone with a background check. After the first 15 sign up, the rest of the chaperones will need to drive themselves and pay for parking due to the Zoo policy. The cost for chaperones is $12 and the cost for parking is $10 per vehicle due to the MN Zoo policy. If you have questions about registration, please contact your child’s teacher for more information.
The bus will depart MCA at 8:15 AM (please arrive by 8:00AM to check in with Student Services.) Bus will return to MCA by 2:00. **REGISTRATION DEADLINE to sign up to chaperone: Thursday, April 17th (Due to Zoo Policy for gathering our group’s numbers). PLEASE NOTE: Younger siblings may not attend.
