Chaperones will be responsible for exploring the zoo with 4-5 students in your group. This will involve making sure students use the bathroom if needed, getting water breaks at the fountains, having fun as you explore the Zoo exhibits, and letting the teachers know if needed for an emergency.

Chaperones are allowed to ride the bus. If you are meeting the bus at the zoo, you are still required to have a current background check on file. If meeting at the zoo, they need to park at the East Entrance (Tiger and Toucan parking lot). The bus will arrive at the MN Zoo approximately 9:45 AM.
The first 8 chaperones to sign up will be free; additional chaperones will have a charge to their FACTS account.
The bus will depart MCA at 9:15 AM (please arrive by 8:45 AM and wait at Student Services). The bus will return to MCA by 2:45 PM.
**REGISTRATION DEADLINE to sign up to chaperone: Friday, May 22nd (In order to have time for background checks to be cleared). PLEASE NOTE: Younger siblings may not attend.
**Please do not forget to check in for your volunteer shift! 2 ways to do this: get the Causer app (App Store or Google Play) or from your PC on the Get Connected Site.
